About the trainer
After an internship with legendary cowboy Val Geissler in Cody, Wyoming Justis Jacobs returned to start his own business on the East Coast. Justis started his business in New Jersey where he stayed for 2 years before moving to Pennsylvania where he is currently. He founded Centaur Horsemanship at 23 years old where his focus is on mastering the partnership between man and horse. Learning much from his mentor Val, Justis is known for his colt-starting abilities and breaking wild mustangs. He has competed in multiple Mustang competitions with much success. For example, Justis took first place in the extreme Mustang makeover in Tennessee in 2023. The special thing about Mustang makeovers is trainers only have 100 days to break a wild Mustang into a fully functional show horse. Justis takes pride in both training horses and working closely with their owners.
